As a high school student with a deep interest in STEM, I am enthusiastic about learning and sharing my passion for understanding the mysteries of the universe. Have you ever wondered about the origins of the cosmos? How our planet happens to be in the perfect "Goldilocks" zone for life? Are there other celestial bodies similar to Earth, hosting planets and stars like ours? And perhaps most intriguingly, could there be sentient beings like us elsewhere in the vastness of space? If these questions ignite your curiosity, then you've arrived at the right place.
Since I was a young child, this sense of wonder has driven me to explore these topics further. I have dedicated my time to delve deeper into the subject matter, and now I am excited to share this passion with my community. I have conducted workshops with young children, and the experience has been both fulfilling and exhilarating. Together, let us spread the word and embark on a journey of discovery and enlightenment.

Since before I can remember, I have harbored an unwavering fascination towards understanding the mysteries of the universe. Born with such insatiable curiosity, I have dedicated countless hours researching these concepts, attending lectures, and spending countless hours gazing at the night sky. Recognizing the importance of sharing one’s knowledge with society, I was immediately drawn to the opportunity of joining “Meet the Stars” as soon as I heard of it. Currently, I am attending Westmount Charter School, a school for gifted children, in Calgary, AB, Canada. At WCS, I have been noted to ask close to non-stop questions and actively take pages worth of notes on a daily basis. Through “Meet the Stars”, I wish to share what little knowledge I have on the wonders of the cosmos to the rest of the world.
As a person with a keen interest in the natural sciences, I am fascinated by the mysteries of the universe. Have you ever wondered about the fundamental laws that govern the behavior of matter and energy? How do we know what we know about the cosmos, and what are the limits of our understanding? These are questions that have driven me to

Have you ever wondered about the fundamental laws that govern the behavior of matter and energy? How do we know what we know about the cosmos, and what are the limits of our understanding? These are questions that have driven me to explore the fields of physics, astronomy, and astrophysics. I have gained a deep appreciation for the power of science to explain and predict the behavior of the natural world. From the tiniest subatomic particles to the vast expanse of space, the principles of physics and astronomy provide a framework for understanding the universe in all its complexity.

I'm Logan Jaynes. I am a student at Normal Community High School and I hope to pursue a career in the computer science field later in life. I am currently in the process of receiving an Associate's Degree in computer science from Heartland Community college through a program at my highschool. I enjoy working with kids and have a job at the children's discovery museum. I also know how to solve a Rubik's cube in under a minute. I joined Meet the Stars because I find space extremely interesting. I think it's important for us to continue to explore and learn about its vastness.

Ever since I was six years old, I’ve always know that I wanted to go into STEM. As I’ve grown older, I’ve been more invested in biology, chemistry, and astronomy. Along with this, I believe that it is extremely important to have an environment, that this project provides, in which everyone can explore and share their passions. I am so excited to get involved and share my passion with my community here in Illinois!

We are physically in Central Illinois and travel around nearby areas to do educational workshops. My workshops are free.
I personally started through Khan Academy on Youtube and it gave me a good foundation in basic physics and then I did courses through Edex and Coursera to learn more. I have a blog page coming soon to discuss this further.
Drop us a line and tell us about yourself and why you are interested and we can discuss further.
Thank you for expressing your interest. We deeply value your kind consideration of donating to our cause. We are excited to share that we are actively working on the logistical aspects.
